Refund Policy
Setup Fees
All setup fees are earned immediately as setup work is performed and become non-refundable once work has begun.
Setup work begins immediately after payment and may include, but is not limited to:
- Strategy and planning
- Account audits
- Google Ads setup and configuration
- Local Services Ads (LSA) setup
- Landing page planning and development
- CRM setup
- Tracking and analytics implementation
- Technical troubleshooting
- Platform integrations
- Client consultations
- Research and campaign preparation
Because these services require immediate professional labor and cannot be recovered, setup fees are non-refundable after work has started.
Monthly Services
Monthly management fees cover ongoing services and are billed in advance.
Cancellation prevents future billing only and does not entitle the client to a refund for the current billing period.
Project Timelines
Any timelines provided are estimates and are not guarantees.
Projects may be delayed due to circumstances outside of chimi's control, including but not limited to:
- Google Ads verification
- Google Local Services Ads verification
- Meta/Facebook review processes
- Billing issues
- Account suspensions
- Existing account errors
- Client approval delays
- Missing client information
- Third-party platform outages
These delays do not constitute failure to perform services and do not qualify a project for a refund.
Client Delays & Account Issues
If a client's existing advertising accounts, websites, domains, hosting, Google Business Profile, or other third-party systems require troubleshooting or repair before work can continue, chimi may first perform the work necessary to restore or prepare those systems.
Time spent diagnosing, repairing, communicating with platform providers, or resolving technical issues is considered billable project work and is included within the agreed service.
Client Cancellation
If a client chooses to cancel after work has begun, any payments made for completed work, setup, strategy, consultation, research, or technical implementation remain non-refundable.
Choosing to complete the project independently or through another provider does not entitle the client to a refund for work already performed.
Removal of Access
If a client removes chimi's access to required accounts, advertising platforms, websites, CRM systems, or other project resources before completion, the project shall be considered terminated by the client.
Any work completed up to that point remains billable and any payments previously made remain non-refundable.
Inactive Projects
Projects with no client communication or response for thirty (30) consecutive days may be considered inactive. Project timelines may be reset and additional onboarding or setup fees may apply if work resumes after an extended period.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Clients agree to contact chimi first to attempt to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
If a chargeback is filed, chimi reserves the right to submit documentation including, but not limited to:
- Signed agreements
- Accepted Terms & Conditions
- Payment records
- Emails
- Text messages
- Phone records
- Account access history
- Project notes
- Technical work performed
- Screenshots
- Platform activity logs
to demonstrate that services were provided.
Cancellation Policy
Setup Fees
Clients may cancel recurring services at any time by providing written notice.
Cancellation requests prevent future recurring billing only and do not entitle the client to a refund for:
- Setup fees
- Professional services already performed
- Work completed prior to cancellation
- The current billing period
- Strategy, consultation, research, technical implementation, or account configuration already completed
If a client chooses to discontinue services after work has begun or elects to complete the project independently or through another provider, all fees earned up to that point remain non-refundable.
If a client removes chimi's access to required accounts, websites, advertising platforms, CRM systems, or other project resources before the project is complete, the project will be considered terminated by the client. Any work completed prior to termination remains billable and non-refundable.
